Course Goals and Objectives
Learn step-by-step how to create beautiful natural-looking restorations. When "drill and fill" is no longer a challenge for you, this course will provide you with the necessary training & skills to achieve gratifying results.
A lecture followed by hands-on training with today’s new esthetic materials and instruments will allow you to start on interesting new cases as soon as Monday morning. The materials, required instruments and step-by-step technique instruction for all types of anterior restorations will be covered. As a bonus, a discussion on “how much to charge for these types of procedures?” and marketing tips to increase case acceptance in your own practice will complete the day.

- Various composite materials (microhybrids vs microfills)
- Colour development principles
- Opaquers and tints
- Instrumentation
- Anterior techniques: Class III, IV, V, composite veneers (A4 to A2 colour change)
- Hands-on: veneers and characterization
- Porcelain repair
- Advanced techniques: diastema closure, instant orthodontics
- Maintenance
- Marketing and how to increase the amount of esthetic cases in YOUR OWN practice

- The preparation bonding system
- Can you create contour with interproximal matrices?
- Is a pink opaquer necessary?
- Does the microhybrid provide enough opacity?
- Is an opaquer needed to prevent shine through?
- Tints add chroma and characterization
- Microfils provide the final lustre and polish
- Is an incisal shade required for translucency?
- Surface sculpting and lobe form scatter light
- Use of a realistic cure for long term stability

CANCELLATION POLICY: Two weeks prior to course date – 100% refund. One week prior to course date – 50% refund. There is no refund for cancellations after one week prior to course date.

Biography
Dr. Danièlle Larose obtained her D.M.D. from the University of Montreal in 1997. Dr. Larose maintains a private practice in Montreal primarily devoted to conservative esthetic dentistry. Her continuing education has focused on dental/facial esthetics and smile design, and has included programs from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Training. She is a member of the Canadian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. In her dynamic and motivating style, Dr. Larose lectures and leads hands-on programs covering direct anterior composite resin techniques. Dr. Larose has been featured in Oral Health’s Esthetic Issue, as well as Continuum.
