Course Overview

Put esthetic and cosmetic dentistry into action in your general practice. Learn about state of the art esthetic techniques and materials. Since 1983, Dr. Nash has successfully focused his dental practice on cosmetic and esthetic dentistry. He will share key ingredients to achieving clinical success and discuss treatment modalities that provide patients with functional and esthetic excellence. Concepts in materials choice and restoration type will be illustrated through actual clinical examples. Techniques for advanced esthetic rehabilitation will be presented. Step by step technique illustrations will be used to show the participants how to correct for color, mal-alignment, missing teeth and other esthetic problems. Dr. Nash will demonstrate the fundamentals of smile design while addressing the importance of occlusion in his clinical cases.

  • If you care about the integrity and precision of your dental work, then come and see what a difference moving from macro to micro-dentistry makes.
  • Discover how to incorporate magnification (loupes and microscopes) into almost every aspect of dentistry, including restorative, prosthodontics, periodontics, and endodontics.
  • Learn it on the weekend and enthusiastically put it into practice on Monday … it’ll be that easy and enjoyable!
  • Major vendors will exhibit and represent their products on site.
  • This course is tailored to general dentists, dental specialists, and dental assistants.

Back to Course Overview

The goal of the University of Toronto Advanced Restorative Esthetic Continuum is to provide participants with a logical and insightful perception as to how to examine, treatment plan and deliver dentistry to their patients that is functional, esthetic and optimally maintainable.

Participants will receive a certificate from the University of Toronto Continuing Dental Education once completing each of the seven programs over a period not exceeding three academic school years. Each of the seven programs will take place on a Friday and Saturday in Toronto, Ontario. Each 2-day program will consist of a lecture and a hands-on component. The hands-on component will allow each participant to fully understand and practice what they have learned and to satisfy the University requirement to be able to give a certificate. Space is limited to 32 participants per session.

The courses are run in logical progression in order to give each doctor insight, perception, and the vision to achieve their restorative esthetic goals. Treatment planning and working with a dental team of specialists is stressed, although there is no way to learn everything in seven sessions, participants will acquire a fundamental and direction to continue their quest for dental excellence.
