Lecture Component:
- Overview of magnification in dentistry with a practical and common sense approach.
- Review of different loupes, microscopes, head-light systems, arm-supporting ergonomic chairs, and other magnification accessories.
- Learn what’s on the market, what to look for, and what best suits your needs, before making any purchase.
- Optimal use of magnification, ergonomically and with your chairside dental assistant.
Expanded Hands-On Training for Doctors and Staff:
- Perform actual dental procedures (including restorative, prosthodontic, periodontal surgery, implants, and endodontics) with magnification in simulated clinical workstations.
- Use various loupes, microscopes, head-light systems, and ergonomic operator chairs.
- Work with your dental assistant and learn optimal four-handed dentistry using magnification.

Biography
Dr. Manor Haas, D.D.S., Cert. Endo., M.Sc.(D), F.R.C.D.(C) maintains a private practice in Toronto, limited to Endodontics and microsurgery. He is on staff at both the Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. He is a clinic instructor and lecturer in the undergraduate and graduate Discipline of Endodontics. Dr. Haas obtained his dental degree from the University of Toronto, and specialized in Endodontics at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has given numerous continuing education courses to various dental organizations and has published many articles in dental journals. Dr. Haas has accumulated a decade of experience in incorporating magnification into daily dental practice, including general dentistry.
